Roy Jackson "Jack" Elliott, 90, of Murphy, Texas, formerly of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, entered his Heavenly Home on Sunday, August 6, 2017.

He was born on April 4, 1927, in Plum Township, Pennsylvania, to the late Roy and Abby (Greer) Elliott. Jack proudly served our country in the United States Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theater. He retired from Peoples Gas following 32 years of service as a lineman. Jack and his wife, Alice, were active members of Grace Baptist Church in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, where he served as a greeter and cleaned the church for several years. Most recently, they were members of First Baptist Church in Rowlett, Texas.

Jack enjoyed gardening but, most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. His devotion for his family and his quick-wit will be remembered by all who loved and knew him.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his brother, Glen Elliott. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Alice Marie (Smith) Elliott; three daughters, Linda Jean (Steven Walter) Bilobran of Rowlett, TX, Sandra Lee (Rev. Trevor) Brubaker of Union City, PA, and Elaine Ann (William Bruce) Bullock of Allen, TX; grandchildren, Katie Marie Bullock, Audrey Madison Bullock, and Jonathan Brubaker; brother, Eugene Elliott of Florence, TX; and niece, Judith Rodriguez of Wilkinsburg, PA.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 2pm in Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, 7990 President George Bush Turnpike, Dallas, TX 75252 with Pastor Grant Abe officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 4518 Northern Pike, Monroeville, PA 15146.
