Jean Frances Mitchell Lahman age 89 of Dallas, Texas passed away the morning of March 31st, 2015.

Jean was born June 19th, 1925 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of Carl and Marie (Hoppe) Mitchell.

She married Bob Lahman in 1949 in Covington, Kentuck. He preceded her in death in 1979.

Jean attended Withrow High School and the University of Cincinnati. For many years she was a first grade teacher in Ohio. Later she moved to California and worked in retail which she enjoyed. Jean loved spending time with her family and traveling. She would often say that she wished she was on a plane going somewhere. Her favorite hobby was swimming. She was passionate about going to the ocean, spending time at the beach, and working on her tan.

She is survived by her son Bob Lahman and wife Maureen of California, her daughter Debi Baker of Carrollton, Tx., her brother Dick Mitchell and wife Wilma of Arlington, Tx., and sister Carol Devore of San Diego, Calif. Her surviving grandchildren include Blake and Sarah Lahman of California, and Corey and Ryan Baker of Carrollton, Tx. Jean's identical twin Janet Nunn of Cleveland preceded her in death by four days. Hopefully they are happily reunited since they were so close all of their lives.

We will miss our loving, thoughtful, compassionate Mother. She was always upbeat and had a smile for everyone. She was loved by her family and anyone whose life she touched. XOXO
